My Room

12:32:44 pm, Categories: Anime, Figures, Suzumiya Haruhi, Personal stuff

As part of a contest on Danny Choo's website to post THE picture of your otaku room, I'm writing this post with extra photos to go with it. (my room isn't as otaku as many others, but it's just fun to have everybody participate!)
The following picture is the one that I posted in the member news on the site. (click for original pic) It's a 3-piece as my stuff is located in several places in my room and I can't take a 360 degree picture, and even if I could, it wouldn't be practical.

And now some other pictures to go more into detail:

The bags from Tokyo Anime Fair 2008 which I went to last year. I had one more bag but I gave that one to a friend, and one bag that I didn't get. The second pic is the other side of the bags.

The next picture is of an exclusive bag which was sold at Entama Festival 2006 in Akihabara in November 2006, which was my very first trip to Japan. So it's quite precious ^^

My desk with my MacBook Pro and 24" flatscreen, with behind it my shelf of nendoroids and figmas. The Nendoroids are: Shakugan no Shana, Suzumiya Haruhi, Pastel Ink, Nagato Yuki, Hatsune Miku, Asahina Mikuru. And on the both ends the figmas: Tsuraya-san and Hiiragi Kagami. The second picture is from another occasion, cause I couldn't get the figures on the shelf to look good because of the lighting.

These figures are on my night stand, together with a japanese styled lamp. Figures are: Minami nendoroid petit from Lucky Star, rock goddess Haruhi, and the gorgeous Ryougi Shiki from Kara no Kyoukai.

Next up is my closet, starting from the top shelf are many of my CD's and DVD's from Ayumi Hamasaki and some other artists, and also my Evangelion dvd box set.

Middle shelf are some art books, magazines and photo books that I brought back from Japan. Also dvd box sets from Macross, Full Metal Panic, Full Metal Panic Fumoffu and Excel Saga.

And the last shelf has got my old SNES (of which I'm still proud that I bought it so many years back), some mangas in japanese and english, and some more DVDs and my dvd box set of Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu.

These are some old posters from Chobits which was one of my first animes that I watched.

Next up are my figures: Top shelf: Suzumiya Haruhi, Tokiha Mai and Kaname Chidori. Not very visible but in the back: some minor character from Evangelion, a gachapon from Tenjou Tenge and a gothic Chii from Chobits.

Middle shelf: all my smaller figures: many Ayupans, and several gachapon from Ichigo Mashimaro, Lucky Star, Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu. Also two playing card sets: one from Lucky Star and under that, one from Chobits (which you can't see ^^;)

Bottom shelf: figures from the Lord of the Rings Extended Edition DVD box sets, a miniature version of the Toyota Trueno AE86 car from Initial-D. Also a fan in the back which I got for free at Tokyo Anime Fair last year.

The backside of the Haruhi bag from Entama 2006 and on the right, my latest Ayumi Hamasaki poster, as her latest single RULE/Sparkle was the official single for the Dragonball Evolution movie, Akira Toriyama drew an exclusive rendition of Ayumi in Dragonball style.

The wall next to my bed: Ritona Yoko dakimakura and a poster of Ayumi Hamasaki which I got with the album Secret.

And these are my 2 light fans from Ayumi Hamasaki. One from Asia Tour 2007 (which I went to) and Arena Tour 2006 (which I didn't go to, bought this one of the internet). Unfortunatly, I don't have one from Asia Tour 2008 as I went to the second concert of the tour and the light fans (and t-shirts) were not available yet.
