Sounds like a blast. And expensive if youre gonna buy something from every venue! I think the word “variety” pretty much describes any shown in Japan!

Hello! I found your blog while looking for information abou Ayumi’s Countdown concert. In another post you said that you bought your tickets from reseller shops in Shinjuku, Harajuku, Shibuya and in Ueno but I was just wondering the names of the stores? I’ll be in Tokyo on the 30th and 31st and was thinking of trying to get tickets to Ayumi’s concert for the 31st, if I can for not that expensive (which would be anything under $150US if I’m lucky??….)
I also see that you’re planning on going to Comiket, which is something that I’m planning on doing as well, though I’m pretty sure I’m going to be eaten alive. My plan is to go and ‘check it out’ but from what I’ve been reading online, it’s a pretty crazy adventure that you need lots of planning before you go. Ahhh, this will be my first time, I’m not expecting to buy anything and I’m just going to get a feel for it before I give it a try again next year!

Always looking forward to this concert! Early late it doesn’t matter, it’s all good!
are you buying the tickets when you get there? i’ll let my bf know! how did you found out about it? her official website still has nothign ^^;
It isn’t mentioned (yet) on her official site, but it is on Avex’s site. I got it from AHS : http://www.ahsforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=95924 (the forum where you’ll find the most recent news ;p)
And yes, I will be buying tickets when I get there (from the reseller shops of course..).
Sorry to ask again but where do you find reseller shops?
I will be living in Ikebukuro. Can you please help me recommend a reseller shop? :)
Well, the closest to Ikebukuro would be the one in Shinjuku. There are about 4 reseller shop in Tokyo (that I know of): Shinjuku, Harajuku, Shibuya and in Ueno. I can’t really recommend any of the 4, because I always go check all 4, write down interesting tickets and then decide which ones to take according to price and seat location.
But I’ll write a guide in my other blog about travelling to Japan about how to find them. They are all not too difficult to find.
ok cool~ thanks for helping me out! my bf is just worried that it’ll sell out by the time we get there and buying services are wayy too expensive :p
I already have!!
Is Ayumi *—–*

I’m planning to go to Tokyo this new year to Ayu’s CDL. However, I’m still unsure about some issues. I’m glad for you cause it looks like you’ve almost everything sorted.
All the best!
What issues are you having? If you have any questions about Tokyo or the concert, maybe I could answer them.
Funny, my friend and I just randomly scheduled a trip for approximately the same dates (Dec. 23 - Jan. 6). Comiket sounds amazing and I’m really glad that I learned about it from your blog. Do you know if you have to buy tickets in advance for it? Is admission free? Thanks for your help!
No, Comiket has free admission, but they encourage you to buy the catalog (book) for a guide to all the circles that participate in Comiket and to find certain ones you’re interested in or to find your way around. But entry is free, and you could just browse around and have a look at the cosplayers. Be warned that Comiket has a LOT of visitors ;p
It’s my first time, but I’ve seen pictures of over-crowded halls ^^
hi! do you know where i can buy tickets for ayu’s CDL for 2009-2010? thanks! (:
Hi there, I’m glad that I found your blog and my sister and I are planning to go to Japan the same time as you! :D Can you please tell me how to get/order Ayumi’s tickets? Thanks so much!
Tickets are not easy for foreigners to get officially. But you can buy tickets from reseller shops in Tokyo (at a higher price, depending on how good the seats are).
hi! i was just wondering how did you find out about the tickets and where to buy it because i’ve been looking at her official website everyday and she hasn’t updated it about the CDL D:
i’m going to tokyo from dec 8 to jan 10 :)
I’ve been waiting for the confirmation about the CDL concert too. But her previous tour is just ending, so we’ll have to wait after that.
But if there IS a CDL (there has always been a CDL even when she had concert in november), I can get tickets from the usual places in Tokyo (the reseller shops, thus second hand, first hand is impossible, especially for a CDL). We could meet up for the concert.
cool thanks! :D
i’ll be in a group of 7 ppl XD so it’s not hard to miss!! we’re australians too (well mostly asian australians) :p
hey! ill be in tokyo from the 23rd of Dec to the 2nd of Jan. Also planning to watch an CDL. Just wanted to check if you have any idea what is the approximate price for a middle range ticket and whether it’s available in consecutive seats and how long it will be available in reseller shops prior to the concert. We’ll be in tokyo only on the 29th so it’s kind of close to the concert date. I read about the balloting system and it kinds of limits consecutive seats to only 2 but we have 3 in our group. Thanks for any help or suggestions!
I haven’t been to a CDL concert yet, but from my experience form previous Arena Tour concerts, B-block (which is very good) is about 20k yen per ticket, C-block, about 16k, and D-block 10k. The seats on the side vary greatly, from 10 to 30k. But since a countdown live concert is more special, I guess tickets will be a little bit more expensive. I’m going for a B-block (as I always try to do) which I’m guessing will be about 25k instead of the regular 20k. But it all depends… you can have a good seat for 18 and a bad seat for 23. But tickets are indeed usually in pairs. It is possible to take just one ticket from a pair, the reseller shops don’t mind.
