I was so tired that I stayed in bed until noon, so I switched the visit to Nikko with the next day. This way, I'm much more awake and my feet got some rest. It's now almost 21h, and my feet and legs don't hurt, so that's good.
The weather was back to normal, so I went to Asakusa which is close by my hotel, and luckily one of the big temple buildings wasn't being repaired any more like last time. (when they repair something in Japan, they surround it completely with white walls, so can't see a thing any more. So now I got some nice pictures and clips. Went again to the sushi restaurant like last time, and after that took the Ginza line to Ginza. Ginza was not much fun, as it is actually some big streets with some expensive shops which are way above my budget. So I didn't waste much time here, and went on to Nakano. Close to Nakano station, there is a mall which has 2 floors with many anime/manga related shops, it's like a second small Akihabara. They had a big Mandarake shop. There was even a cel shop, which I hadn't yet seen in Akiba. After this I took a quick stop at Akihabara, bought some manga, and went back to my hotel.
Curious things in Japan:
- it seems that 99% of all bicycles are female-type bicycles and they all have a metal basket in front of their steering wheel. Every one of them. I'll take a picture of them tomorrow. They also all have the same type of stand at the rear wheel.
