So the signs were true about a new singles: shooting PV for extended version mirror and her recent recording of a new song called Life.
Ayumi Hamasaki will be releasing a special anniversary single called "Mirrorcle World". It will be released in 4 versions: 2 CD and 2 CD+DVD. They will all include "Mirrorcle World" and "Life" (and the PV and making of for Mirrorcle World on the DVD). The difference is that one CD/CD+DVD version will include a 10th anniversary version of YOU and the other CD/CD+DVD version will include Depend on You. Both songs will have been rerecorded for her 10th anniversary. Also, the CD+DVD case will be a DVD portrait box, just like DVD movie box.

Chart Update:
She has done it again, it was close but she did it again! She got the weekly number 1 position. It was close by just 5000 copies with number 2. She sold 145576 copies in her first week, that is more than her previous single in total. But this makes her #1 single streak to 18 consecutive number #1 singles and her 30th number #1 single.

Finally, it's the day of the concert! Went early to the stadium area at around 11h30. I had been emailing with a girl from Australia who I was gonna meet there. And also left a message on AHS, but I wasn't sure it would get to them in time. It was a very sunny day I must say, think I got a little bit of a tan from this vacation ;p. Been noticing it the for the past days. Didn't expect it. I waited until 13h, and didn't see anybody and went to the merchandising stand, cause I still had a few items to buy, and met another guy there from England. He was shy about buying some merchandise and helped him along. He wanted a t-shirt, but as you know, they aren't out yet until the 8th so he bought a hoody. We started talking (his name was Matthew) and eventually met up with Amanda (the girl from Australia). Took some picture for each other with the arena in the background, got something small to eat and it was almost time the doors opened so we went to get into the line. The doors opened half an hour late, which also meant the concert was starting half an hour late at 16h30. I had already seen the tracklist on AHS from the day before and read some of the things that were going to happen on stage and seen pictures of the costumes ;p

Came home from work today and finally found my concert dvd in the mail! :D Shipping took quite a while. So I was finally able to watch the full concert that I went to last year. The dvd is the final concert in Fukuoka, but I went to the 2 Yokohama Arena concerts after the asian leg of the tour. The cover looks very nice and classy with the Ayu Asia Tour logo. It has two dvds which contain the concert with documentary pieces in between the songs. The picture on the actual dvd case inside the cover is very nice, it's a closeup of Ayu during 1LOVE.
I have just a few negative points: actually the fact that the concert is interrupted every 2 or 3 songs by the documentary, no 5.1 audio and no talk during the encore. I'm guessing something went wrong during production causing the dvd to be released so much later than the previous dvds. They usually come out arround october/november, but now it was march of the next year!
But anyway, I LOVE THE CONCERT! ^^ Ayu looks very beautiful in it and sings very good. The beginning of the concert is just awesome! It's also good that they included a few of the other songs that she sang during the tour that were not featured in the final concert.

I have a feeling that we can expect a better release than this one, probably on bluray, but don't take my word for it, I may be wrong, or just wishful thinking ^^;

But every fan should buy it, it's great!

Something is brewing in Ayu-land. More and more hints are surfacing that "Mirror" the intro song of GUILTY will be made into a full song, with PV.
Fans who saw her in Paris, shooting the new PV and heard an extended version of Mirror. Also, in the latest CM for Lumix, a part of the extended version of Mirror can be heard.
And as can be seen in the CM, the song gets a new title: Mirrorcle World ^^;

Will it be an A-side of B-side to her next single? When will it be released? Maybe another digital single? No one knows yet. But stay tuned ;p

The cover of the dvd from Ayumi Hamasaki's Asia Tour 2007 concert has been revealed on amazon.jp and mu-mo.
I think it looks classy, simple but good. Can't go wrong with something like this. Can't wait to see it!

Paris is like a 3-4 hours drive from here, I'm excited she's so close to my home country Belgium /O.O\

Just found this in the AHS news section. Avex is going release some remix vinyls again! The last vinyl release for Ayumi was in the end of 2005 (from Drizzly) and the last one from Avex Trax in 2003. The records contain remixes from those featured on the new ayu-mi-x remix album, with an extra version of each remix. Except for one, they all contain 4 tracks. They will all be released by Rhythm Republic on April 9th 2008.
I'm quite excited to hear the remixes ;)
