After 7 singles and some anime character singles, Hirano Aya is finally releasing her first full album. Title and track listing is still unknown, but the album will be released on July 16th 2008. As bonus a special AYA pack is included, of which the contents are still unknown as well. She has already quite a repertoire of songs to fill 2 albums. Will she just stick to (a selection of) the official singles? Will there be new material on the album? Still many questions ;p
Update June 2nd 2008:
On her blog, Aya announced the title of her first album as "Riot Girl" with accompanying PV (is Riot Girl also a song on the album?). From looking her webpage, songs included in the track listing are: Breakthrough (album version), Bouken Deshou Deshou?, Asu no Prism, Yorokobi no Uta (Asu no Prism's second track), LOVE GUN, NEOPHILIA, MonStAR, Maybe I Can't Good-bye, and supposedly new tracks as well. So the album will include all of her solo single A-tracks, one B-track and one B-track from an anime ED single.
Update June 17th 2008:
Again on her blog, Aya posted what seems to be preview of the album cover. She also mentions that the PV is ready. Only one month to go until the release ;p
Update June 18th 2008:
Aya just posted a bigger image of the cover, which I think is very cute ^^
Also new picture on her website & blog.

It seemed like a dream come true. X Japan were finally together again, did some awesome concerts after almost 10 years, AND announced an international world tour with a concert in Paris, Taipei and New York. But now the sad news comes that Yoshiki has problems with his health.
Yoshiki has long had a chronic herniated disc and tenditis. Doctors ordered him to wear a corset during the concerts in May, which he did not. And it also worsened during the tribute concerts in May for Matsumoto "hide" Hideto.
This explains why he wore a neck band in the past concerts, as I didn't know about his actual condition, although I expected something like this.
He is supposedly recovering in his home in Los Angeles, but the concerts are postponed until further notice...
Gambatte Yoshiki!!

With the immense title "Tour 2007-2008 Stacked Rubbish Grand Finale [Repeated Countless Error] In Kokuritsu Yoyogi Kyogiba Daiichi Taiikukan", the GazettE will release the dvd of the finale of their last concert tour on August 6th 2008. According to CDJapan, the main concert will have 18 songs and 2 encores with 8 additional songs. They will perform nearly every song from the album Stacked Rubbish and from their latest single Guren. And with a nice personal favorite, also Cassis <3 (which they didn't perform in Germany or Shizuoka when I attended their concert there). So I can't wait to see it!
The dvd will be released in two formats: a regular 2-dvd version and a limited 3-dvd version with poster and 60-page booklet. There is also a third version, a European version of the regular 2-dvd edition with English subtitles.
Regular 2-dvd edition:
Catalog no: KIBM-177
Price: 6090yen
Limited 3-dvd edition:
Catalog no: KIBM-90177
Price: 9765yen
Hirano Aya's newest release is an anime character single called Unnamed World. It is the ED song for the anime Nijuu mensou no Musume (or The Daughter of Twenty Faces) in which she also voices the main character Chiko. Because it is a character song, it is not part of her single series as a solo artist, so it's not her 7th single.
This single also features her new look, which we had already seen on her photo blog. It gives her a less playful and a more serious style and look.
Release date: April 23rd 2008
Catalog number: LACM-4485
Tracklisting:
1. Unnamed World
2. Maybe I can't good-bye
3. Unnamed World (OFF VOCAL)
4. Maybe I can't good-bye (OFF VOCAL)

Here's a piece of the PV:
So the signs were true about a new singles: shooting PV for extended version mirror and her recent recording of a new song called Life.
Ayumi Hamasaki will be releasing a special anniversary single called "Mirrorcle World". It will be released in 4 versions: 2 CD and 2 CD+DVD. They will all include "Mirrorcle World" and "Life" (and the PV and making of for Mirrorcle World on the DVD). The difference is that one CD/CD+DVD version will include a 10th anniversary version of YOU and the other CD/CD+DVD version will include Depend on You. Both songs will have been rerecorded for her 10th anniversary. Also, the CD+DVD case will be a DVD portrait box, just like DVD movie box.
