It's finally there, a few months after we heard the first tunes of Green in a CM, there is finally news of the new single. The single will be released on December 17th 2008 and will feature 2 new songs: GREEN and Days.
Both songs are to be A-side, but are released separately as GREEN/Days and Days/GREEN, each with a different extra track and slightly different dvd playlist. (See below for more detail) Just like on the previous single, the extra tracks are again 10th anniversary editions of old songs: TO BE (on GREEN/Days) and Love ~Destiny~ (on Days/GREEN).
The PV is now being shot in Shanghai and will be situated in Shanghai of the 1940s. Its budget is estimated at $1.6 million making it the third PV of Ayumi that is featured in the top 20 list of most expensive PVs (the other two being Fairyland and Jewel).

Today we got our real first snow here in Belgium. And it's a month too early actually for a white Christmas, which we haven't had here in Antwerp since many years now. AS it was snowing beautifully, I snapped a few pics with my dslr.

Ayu had hinted about it a few days ago in her TeamAyu blog, but it's now official: the title for her New Year's concert will be: Premium Countdown Live 2008-2009. But that's not all, it's going to be a whopping THREE AND A HALF hours long and will feature about 30 songs!!
Ayu has been very busy lately trying to get the playlist together for the concert and she has just returned from her asia tour in the rest of asia, and now with the release of the new single GREEN/Days coming up.
I hope she will eventually release the countdown live as a 3 dvd or bluray disc box ^^;

The dates for the concerts will be:
December 30th 2008 (Doors: 16h30, Start: 17h30)
December 31st 2008 (Doors: 21h00, Start: 22h00)

Just a few days after the news got out that the ticket sales would start on November 10th (only 12 days before the actual concert), we get the news that the concert has been postponed (again!) (not cancelled though).

At a press conference that same day, it was revealed that X Japan have changed to another tour organizer for their world tour. All concert that were to be this year, have been cancelled (including Paris and Japan), and the world tour will now start with the Countdown Live concert at New Years Eve. The next arc of the tour will be in Japan during Spring 2009, and the last part of the tour in Fall 2009 will be in Europe, having concerts in Paris and Sweden. So this means that the Paris concert has actually been postponed for a whole year. The other concerts in the rest of Asia (Korea, China & Taiwan), will go on as planned.

I guess I'll have to go to the concert in Japan again next year.
